The Edmonton Oilers have made a significant move in the offseason by signing forward Viktor Arvidsson to a two-year contract. The deal is worth $4.25 million per season, solidifying the team’s depth at the forward position.

Arvidsson, who was previously with the Nashville Predators, brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Oilers lineup. The 28-year-old Swedish winger has proven himself to be a reliable goal scorer and playmaker over his six seasons in the NHL.

Last season, Arvidsson tallied 10 goals and 15 assists in 50 games with the Predators. He has consistently been a 20-goal scorer in previous seasons and will provide a much-needed offensive boost to the Oilers lineup.

With Arvidsson now in the fold, the Oilers have added another weapon to their already potent offense. He will join a talented group of forwards that includes Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, giving the team even more firepower up front.

Overall, the signing of Viktor Arvidsson is a strong move for the Edmonton Oilers as they look to build a competitive roster for the upcoming season.
