Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has another weapon.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday that four-time Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook is set to sign with the Cowboys.

Cook, 29, and the New York Jets parted ways at the end of the 2023 regular season as the running back put up well-below-average numbers playing behind Breece Hall on a weak team. He then was added to the Baltimore Ravens practice roster and played in one playoff game.

Before last season, Cook had four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.

Mike Zimmer, Minnesota’s coach during Cook’s time with the Vikings, is now the Cowboys’ defensive co-ordinator.
