Biggio and Semien discuss Dodgers debut in pre-game chat

In a pre-game chat before their debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Craig Biggio and Marcus Semien discussed their excitement and nerves about joining the storied franchise.

Biggio, a Hall of Famer and former Houston Astros star, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to play for the Dodgers. “It’s an honor to wear this iconic uniform and be a part of such a successful organization,” he said. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and hopefully helping them win another championship.”

Semien, who signed with the Dodgers in the offseason after a standout year with the Toronto Blue Jays, echoed Biggio’s sentiments. “I’ve always admired the Dodgers from afar and I’m thrilled to finally be a part of this team,” he said. “I can’t wait to get out there and show what I can do on the field.”

Both players acknowledged the pressure that comes with playing for a team with high expectations like the Dodgers. “There’s definitely a level of pressure that comes with playing for a team like this,” Biggio said. “But I think it’s also a great motivator to push yourself to be the best player you can be.”

Semien added, “The Dodgers have a winning culture and I want to do my part to help continue that tradition. I’m excited for the challenge.”

As they prepared to take the field for their debut game, Biggio and Semien shared a moment of camaraderie and mutual respect. “It’s great to have someone like Craig on the team who has been through it all before,” Semien said. “I know I can learn a lot from him and I’m looking forward to playing alongside him.”

Biggio replied, “Marcus is a talented player and I think we can do some great things together on this team. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish.”

With their positive attitudes and determination, Biggio and Semien are poised to make an impact on the Dodgers and help lead the team to success in the upcoming season. Fans are eagerly anticipating their debut and are hopeful that they will be key contributors to the team’s quest for another championship.
