Gabriel Santos def. Yi Zha via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27)

These featherweights were focussed from the get-go and the opening round was competitive until Santos dropped Zha with a beautiful front kick that split his opponent’s guard. Santos frequently switched his stance to keep Zha guessing and landed a second front kick to the face early in the second. Santos was the more accurate and damaging striker throughout and showed off his well-rounded skills in the third by controlling much of the action on the ground.

Easily the leader in the clubhouse for Fight of the Night so far despite the one-sided scorecard.

Jaqueline Amorim def. Vanessa Demopoulos via submission (armbar) at 3:28 of Round 1

Brazil’s Amorim picked up her third consecutive win and finish thanks to an early armbar of Demopoulos who protested that Amorim grabbed inside her glove before locking in the hold and forcing a tap. Demopoulos had won five of six prior to Saturday’s loss.

Andre Petroski def. Dylan Budka via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Petroski accumulated more than nine minute of control time over the course of his 15-minute catchweight bout with Budka who missed weight by 2.5 pounds one day prior

Nathan Fletcher def. Zygimantas Ramaska via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 1:14 of Round 2

The pair of TUF 32 cast members earned a shot in the UFC after admirable appearances on the reality show earlier this year and it was the English grappler who was able to implement his will on the Lithuanian striker. Ramaska had a nifty inverse triangle attempt in the opening round but could not prevent Fletcher from getting takedown and by the time the second round came around Ramaska no long had the energy to explode back to his feet and succumbed to a submission.

In a highly anticipated welterweight showdown at UFC Fight Night, Gilbert Burns and Sean Brady went head-to-head in a thrilling matchup that had fans on the edge of their seats. Both fighters came into the bout with impressive records and high expectations, making this one of the most talked-about fights of the night.

The fight started off with both fighters feeling each other out, trying to gauge each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Burns, known for his explosive striking and submission skills, looked to establish his dominance early on. However, Brady, a rising star in the welterweight division, showed great composure and technical prowess in the octagon.

As the fight progressed, it became clear that both fighters were evenly matched, with neither giving an inch. Burns landed some powerful strikes and attempted to take the fight to the ground, while Brady showcased his superior grappling skills and defensive abilities.
