Treliving declines to provide off-season updates on Marner and Tavares

Calgary Flames general manager Brad Treliving has declined to provide any updates on potential off-season moves involving Toronto Maple Leafs’ star players Mitch Marner and John Tavares.

Speculation has been swirling around the NHL regarding the future of both Marner and Tavares, with many teams reportedly interested in acquiring their services. However, Treliving has remained tight-lipped about any potential deals involving the two players.

In a recent press conference, Treliving stated, “I understand that there is a lot of interest in Mitch and John, but at this time, we are not able to provide any updates on their status. We are focused on building a competitive team for the upcoming season and will make any necessary moves to improve our roster.”

Both Marner and Tavares have been key contributors for the Maple Leafs in recent years, with Marner leading the team in scoring and Tavares providing veteran leadership on and off the ice. It is no surprise that teams are interested in acquiring their talents, but it remains to be seen if any deals will be made.

As the off-season progresses, fans will have to wait and see if any developments arise regarding the futures of Marner and Tavares. In the meantime, Treliving and the Flames will continue to work towards building a strong team for the upcoming season.
