2025 Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada to be Hosted in Canmore, Alberta

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is returning to Alberta.

Canmore will host the 25th anniversary of the event on Jan. 18, 2025, marking the first time the day-long celebration will be in the province since Lloydminster (Alberta and Saskatchewan) staged the event in 2014.

Ron MacLean announced Canmore as the host on Sportsnet during Monday’s broadcast of Game 3 of the Western Conference Final.

Canmore, about 90 kilometres west of Calgary, is home to the junior-A Eagles

The Hockey Day in Canada celebration will feature Canadian NHL teams in action, and see stories and features from coast to coast shared by a variety of hosts and commentators on Hockey Night in Canada.
